Publication - 'Wie wollen wir entwerfen? Architektur und Verantwortung'

Publication by Peter Schürmann (Institute for Building Materials Science, Building Physics, Building Technology and Design) with Armin Kammer, Anna Lips and others.

Good architecture - climate change, energy crisis, scarcity of resources: today more than ever, the question of the specific expertise of architects in the concert of many experts and players is being raised. The course is already set during architecture studies.

An inspiring and multifaceted textbook that presents concepts and personal texts on how students can be accompanied on their creative path into an extremely complex profession right from the start of their studies, even from the perspective of a building technology institute. The book encourages students and generally interested parties to critically examine the subject and helps them to develop a personal attitude to design in these challenging times.

If you are interested in purchasing the book, please send an e-mail to Ms. Heike Heller,
IBBTE secretary: institut@ibbte.uni-stuttgart.de.
