Final Theses

The project around Streifstraße in Degerloch is creating a lively, community-oriented residential and living space on the FLÜWO site. A carefully designed new building complements houses 11, 15, and 17 to form an ensemble that creates a protected outdoor space with a neighborly atmosphere. Apartments of various sizes, from compact flats to family maisonettes, enable a mixed community of residents. Pergolas connect the living space with the outdoors, opening the apartments to the neighborhood and allowing light, air, and community to flourish. Shared kitchens, co-working spaces, a studio, and a café create everyday meeting places and anchor the project in the neighborhood. The result is a residential community that allows for individual lifestyles while strengthening the social fabric of the urban environment.
